1991 Orville by Gibson Firebird crafted at the Terada factory. A fine example of top quality Japanese craftsmanship. Orville by Gibson guitars represented the highest tier of Japanese construction, named after Orville Gibson himself.
Featuring a mahogany body/neck, rosewood fretboard with a pearloid trapezoid inlay. The mini-humbuckers that deliver the classic, punchy tones Firebirds are known for. Tuners have been replaced to steinbergs.
This plays wonderfully, low action with a very comfortable neck. A guitar that is no doubt easy to get lost in. These Orville Firebirds are highly sought-after pieces among collectors and players alike.
Overall in good condition, there is moderate wear around the body due to belt buckle rash, this wear is shown in photos. There is some finish discolouration also present, mainly on the back of the neck. Moderate pickwear present. Very minimal fretware.
Comes in gig-bag.
Weight: 3.1kgs.
At Guitar Garage our focus is to refurbish and restore all guitars to the highest standard. Low action and playability is important to us. Our philosophy is "A guitar that plays well, sells well".
