Gretsch 6122-62 1962 Country Classic II. This is a stunning guitar. Made in Japan in 1993.
Featuring a fully hollow maple body with a dark walnut finish and painted f holes. 2-piece maple neck with a beautiful ebony fretboard with Gretsch’s signature Neo-Classic inlays.
Dual Filtertron humbuckers have loads of spank. They sound awesome! The controls are a single master volume, 2 pickup volume knobs, a 3-way pickup selector, a 3-way tone selector, and a standby switch.
This plays beautifully. The Bigsby has the factory medium tension spring, and it functions perfectly. Every note sounds wonderful and the tonal options available are excellent.
Overall, in great condition for its age. Minor finish wear. Some pick-wear on the face. The hardware shows a charming patina from age. The neck is clean. Minimal fretware.
This is an instantly satisfying guitar. It feels great. It plays great. It sounds excellent.
Comes with its original hardshell case.
