Gibson Les Paul Custom - USA - 1997 - Ebony

1997 Gibson LP Custom in Ebony, this is an incredibly straight and clean example of an LP custom. 
 
Featuring a solid one-piece Mahogany slab body, matched to a hand-carved select Maple top, mahogany with a '60s profile and an ebony fretboard with block pearloid inlays.
 
The full body, neck and headstock binding has aged beautifully and now matches the striking gold hardware and Grover tuners. The original pickups are marked as Pat. No. 2737842, really hit with lots of bite and clarity.
 
Refretted with medium jumbo frets and a full reguvination of the ebony fretboard. Wiring cavity is all original and has never been touched. Bridge has been replaced.The setup on this is low and slinky, truely one of the best playing LP Customs we've had!
 
For a guitar that is over 25 years old this guitar sure is a collectors gem. 
 
Overall in excellent condition. Some scuffs and scratches visable around the guitar. The patina on the pickups and bridge really acts as a reminder that you are playing a historical instrument. Zero fretware.
 
Original brown hard case included.
