Early 70s Gibson L-5S in good condition. On release this was the most expensive solidbody in Gibson's lineup.
Featuring a flame maple neck, body and top. The headstock has been repaired and refinished as shown in pictures from the black respray. Original bridge has been replaced with an authenic vintage counterpart, it has been aged a little to look more in context to the body. The original tuners have also been restored.
Bound ebony fretboard, block abalone inlays with original frets and nibs. Original wiring, pots. Gold hardware. Original humbuckers.
Plays well with a nice low action. Sounds great! This is a highly coveted piece, not many of these around!
Comes with original Gibson hardshell case.
