Fender Telecaster TLAC-950 - MIJ - 1990 - 3 Tone Sunburst

An unique and rare guitar! Although being made between 1990-1991, this was a non-catalogue offering from Fender Japan until 1992 when the TLAC-100 was added to the lineup. There are no differences between these models. Such a shame that these were discontinued, because this guitar is very impressive. 
 
This guitar utilises a unique combination of a single USA-made Lace Sensor IV pickup with a piezo under-saddle pickup with an active circuit. The combination of these two morphs into some seriously awesome tone. Controls are a master tone, active piezo TBX, and a balance knob. 
 
Featuring a semi-hollow body with a spruce top and mahogany back. Maple neck with an oval profile. Rosewood fretboard with a 12” radius. Rosewood bridge. The volume knob has been replaced, otherwise the rest is all original. This guitar plays excellently, action is nice and low, neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
 
All around in good condition. Mild fretware. Clear play wear all around the body on this guitar. Divits all around the top and Scuffs and grazes to the back of the body. 2 marks of discolouration to the headstock.
