J-Craft Standards are consistently great guitars for the price and this is no different, a great Strat in the timeless Candy Apple Red. Great player, with a great low action and 9.84 radius fretboard it feels nice and comfy to play. These models were always stamped as Made in Japan, even thought this does comes from the Crafted in Japan era of Fender Japan.
 
In 100% original condition, featuring a basswood body with a maple neck, the rosewood fretboard is a darker piece of wood then we have seen previously in this line. Gotoh Tuners, Fender Japan Single coil Vintage Pickups, 5 way selector switch, 2 tone 1 volume controls, 3ply white scratch plate.
 
Given a full professional setup this plays and sounds awesome. Cosmetically this is in excellent condition, no fretware. Small blemish to the top of the headstock. Minor pickwear on the scratchplate.
