Fender Japan '75 Reissue Jazz Bass, made in Japan in 1990. This Jazz Bass is truely an absolute standout. 
 
This guitar features a "lightweight" Ash body, makes you think as this doesn't it? The neck is the clear standout, one-piece Maple, with a bound rosewood fretboard, topped off with the pearloid block inlays this looks a treat. Other features include a black 3ply scratch-plate, 70s 3-bolt, vintage style bridge and tuners.
 
Original JB Vintage pickups and CTS Pots, 2 volume 1 tone controls. This bass sounds great, amazing note definition with lots midrange punch. Given a full professional setup, this bass plays great.
 
In good overall condition. Minor fretware. Playwear present all over this guitar. Plenty of dimples to the finish and to the neck. Hardware shows some deterioration from age. There is a larger blemish on the bottom of the back of the body, as shown in picture. 
 
This is a special one, definitely a piece worth checking out if you love these 70s style Jazz Basses!
