Small body, big sound! Yamaha Motion B III Super Edition 1987 made in Japan. The transparent red finish on this guitar is awesome, showing off some of the wood grain from the basswood body.
 
This bass features a medium scale length maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerbard. The pickups sound awesome its a factory change from Yamaha from the standard 2 humbuckers that this model usually posesses, to a P/J configeration. These sound awesome loads of punch to these. 2 knobs for balance, volume and tone controls. 
 
All original and in great condition with minimal fretware. This has received a full service and setup. Plays great, all electronics working as they should and sounds like a beast! Hardware is showing deterioration from age. Playwear present on the face. White graze to the right of the controls. There are a fair amount of marks present on the back of the body, closer to the bottom some of the finish has come off. 
 
A really great bass for the price, no wonder these have developed such a following over the years.
