Beautiful vintage walnut Gibson SG Standard dating between 1973-75. This is a great player-grade guitar and looks awesome. One of the few Gibson SG's from this period that hasn't had a break of any kind!
Featuring a solid mahogany body, 3-pc mahogany neck. Ebony fretboard with mother of pearl inlays, 5ply Angel Wing pick-guard. 4 Gibson branded tuners and 2 Grover tuners. Bridge pickup has been replaced to a DiMarzio DP195 (Pat no. 5399802), neck pickup is the original humbucker.
The ebony fretboard looks beautiful and sets it apart from the rest. Considerable fret-ware present.
This has had some modifications over the years, it looks like it originally had a tremolo. This was changed to a traditional bridge and tailpiece at some point in its life, with the holes from the original being filled in.
Clear signs of use all over this guitar, notably the bucklerash of the back of the body. This guitar still sounds and plays very well, and sounds excellent. This has had a full setup, neck is straight action is low. This guitar has no breaks whatsoever, a rare thing of a Gibson from this generation.
